Who says Im stuck in a rut? In the last two days, I have tried two new things: 20 Mule Team Borax and Mosquito Dunks. First, the 20 Mules seemed to really do a great job on my dogs washable PP pads. The yellow stains that even toxic amounts of bleach wouldnt remove are gone and there is NO lingering smell, plus, they are soft without using fabric softener. I have dogs with every allergy known to dog, so I use All Free and Clear on everything for them and us. Ding, ding, ding! 20 Mule Team Borax is a winner. Now Im going to try cleaning everything with it. EVERYTHING. Now, the Mosquito Dunks. I have a small doggie pool outside for my GSD. He rarely gets in it to get cool, but loves the idea of a stand-in water bowl. But I couldnt empty and refill it daily, so I was worried about breeding those evil HW-causing skeeters. Did a lot of research and came across Mosquito Dunks. Natural biological BT mosquito larva-killer stuff. Will not harm my boy, the birds or bees or froggies or anything other than the nasty skeeter larva. It will keep them from maturing and becoming flying menaces. So, Ace Hardware here in Lburg had em. Threw some in the doggie pool and bird baths early yesterday. Today - NO LARVA! About $10 for a six-pack that covers Lake Michigan. I broke pieces off for my needs. Ding, ding, ding - another winner. #Winning
