Who shall change our vile body , that it may be fashioned like - TopicsExpress

Who shall change our vile body , that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body , according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself . (Philippians 3:21) To be released from this vile body is a desire deep within creation itself (Romans 8:22). The body we exist in now is corrupted from the fall of our ancestor Adam. Adams sin, and subsequent passing of his genes, taints the life we live with anticipation of something better. The something better is to be made like Christ. John expressed in his epistle (1 John 3:2) the fact that we will be changed to be like Christ. It is not possible in this body to know what the new body will be like, but John, and Paul in our text, both see the change as desirable. The fact that everything is under Christs authority gives us the hope of a new body. He who created the universe and breaths life into it is able to change our existence. That the body is under His power, to do as He pleased, is our proof that the changing of vileness to glory is possible. GOD BLESS
