Who stole the soul?? I often wonder what has happened to our community since the days of Marcus Malcolm & Martin. Was it accidental or by design that our collective soul was lost in the name of integration and social assimilation which in my estimation has left us fragmented and torn into a million tiny pieces. Pieces that are so mismatched that we think are only choice in any situation is to march and protest yet our collective emotion can never sustain the feeling long enough to pool our financial resources to help quell the miseducation misunderstanding or just flat out misinformation that tells us we made it. Who stole the soul?? We have arrived and been left behind all at the same time the desire to be individually successful but collectively failures is the new rage. I got mine so you get yours. I dare not look into the eyes of our ancestors when they were torn from African shores if I have to tell them that this is the best we can do. Who stole the soul ??
