Who taught you about love? Where did you learn how to have a relationship? Relationships are complex, yet most people expect to have success in their relationships without any training or guidance. We train for our careers, we seek help to learn to drive, yet with something as important as relationships we are left to work it out by trial and error, based on observation, movies and guidance. Many relationships we see around us are in difficulty and this can have a negative influence on our relationships. Even when we can find successful relationships, watching them doesn’t show us how to have one ourselves. What works for them may not work for us. Most people have a sincere intention and a deep desire to relate well with their partner, so what do successful relationships have that most do not? Each couple needs to forge their own relationship based on their uniqueness and understanding of relationships.
