Who, the bible asks, can find a virtuous woman? Where is the woman of honor; the woman of righteousness? Where is the woman who demands respect and who is concerned about her reputation? The woman of virtue is found in her home, helping her husband and caring for her children. She is in the church, being a role model for the young women and teaching the children about the saving grace of Jesus Christ. She can be found in the workplace, providing guidance and leadership to her peers and subordinates. God’s woman is all these things. She is secure in her femininity, but has no need to charm and manipulate to get her way. And because she looks to her heavenly Father to lead her to the right husband, she knows that her husband loves her as Christ loves the church. She, therefore, embraces submissiveness, and does not rebel against it. God’s woman is high quality and seeks holiness. She desires a true form of godliness and acknowledges God’s power. She turns away from those silly women who are led away by their lusts, and seeks friends of equal yoke. She concerns herself with storing up treasures in heaven and the things of God. God’s woman is every color and every race. She lives on every continent and in every country. She lives in the worst slums and in the richest mansions. God’s woman does not judge others by the color of their skin or the amount of money in their bank account. She cherishes God’s creation, but loves God above all. Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. She is treasured by her husband and respected by her children. She is esteemed by her colleagues and admired by her friends.
