Who wants to see pics of what their Trainee is doing? Im gonna give ya the link to the OFFICIAL US Air Force Basic Military Training page....and youll get to see pics of all kinds of things happenin at BMT right now. Im sure yall are wonderin if YOUR very own Trainee is in any of these pics posted on their page....just like I did back in the day. Well heres the scoop on that: These pics are donated by an outside AF approved photography business called Basic Video Productions. They take hundreds and hundreds of pics randomly of our Trainees. When they donate them to this page, there is NO WAY of knowin who is who (because they dont want to interrupt the training that is going on and ask the MTIs what someones name is.....I wouldnt either!! lol).....but sometimes they will post the TRS/FLT or which Week of Training they are in.....SOMETIMES....not all the times. I can remember checkin in on this page every couple days....prayin that Id get even so much as a glimpse of my son. Well.....my prayer come true.....and our God can be funny sometimes. The next time I looked at that page scanning hundreds of pics til the wee hours of the mornin burnin the midnight oils, on my second pot of coffee, took out my contacts n cleanedm then putm back in to see if thatd help me see better, turned the desk light off so the images would stand out even brighter n clearer.......and lo and behold.......like a diamond stickin up outta a heapin pile of freshly mined coal......there was the pic Id prayed for. It wasnt like my new friend, Leihs son, who had found her sons face clearly shown runnin in the pics posted in the 5K race.....or of another friends son workin KP duty sloshin the floors of which you could see very clearly his handsome face. The pic I was so thrilled about was of my sons EAR and back 1/4 of his head.....no eyes, no face, not much even of his handsome buzzcut head.....just his lil ole ear stickin out behind another Trainees.....as they were doin one of his favorite things.....MARCHIN all over Kingdome come!!!! Sooooo.....with that bein said, HAPPY SEARCHING, remember NO GUARANTEES, LOOK DAILY, and if you get desperate like me, let your imagination get the best of ya and look for their ear.
