Who was this Child, King born to us? Would like to know exactly WHO Jesus was? I know its a little long, but its worth reading. There are some things in this you may not know that will astound you. I know it did me when God showed them to me and opened the scriptures. Some of these realizations hit me like nothing ever before or since. I pray they will help you. Most everyone knows Jesus wasnt born on December 25th, its just a day we celebrate his birth. Whats the REAL Truth (Scriptural & Scientific) about this extraordinary event? I know that most people visualize the babe in the manger with everyone crowding around and the wise men arriving to give him gifts. The truth is a little different.. lets talk about it. What is amazing is that when some astrologers used star charts and went BACK in time to around when Jesus of Nazareth was born they found something pretty amazing around 7BC. The Star of Bethlehem was actually a conjunction of Jupiter & Saturn in the constellation of Pisces. We know that he was born during the end of Herod the Great life, who died in 4BC. We also find that this specific conjunction will never happen again as it was. We know through scriptures that the wise men were actually ancient astrologers/astronomers who followed the conjunction of these celestial bodies for quite some time to find him. The planet Jupiter was Jewish Royal planet.. Saturn was considered to symbolize a King. Ironic that Pisces means Fish.. in that Christians would later symbolize the fish as an acronym for Christ. The word fish in Greek is ΙΧΘΥΣ - Ίησοῦς Χριστός, Θεοῦ Υἱός, Σωτήρ, (Iēsous Christos, Theou Yios, Sōtēr), which translates into English as Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior.. Coincidence? I think not. When did the wise mean actually arrive? It wasnt actually for about 40 or so days later that these men found Mary & Joseph still in Bethlehem. They had asked Herod where the King of Jews was as they had seen his star. Herod tried to trick them and said when you find him come back and tell me so I can go worship him. But he only wanted to kill Jesus. This is why Joseph was warned in a dream to take him to Egypt for awhile. The gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh actually financed their stay until evil Herod the Great had died (4BC). We also know of a horrible massacre when Herod found out the wise men had not returned and sent out soldiers to the area to kill ALL Males under the age of 2. This was also prophesied about the birth of the messiah. This and everything that was prophesied about the coming messiah came to pass. There are debates on exactly how many prophesies were actually that, but suffice to say it goes into the hundreds. Down to even where he would be born and what would have to happen to save us from our sins (his death). Who was this King born to us? He was God In the Flesh. Just as God told Moses even he could not look upon God and live, we could not either. So God veiled himself in flesh and walked among us. Keep in mind, there have always been 3 parts to God.. both OT and New. Many times in the Old Testament you will read and the Word of the Lord Came to - ..who was this Word of the Lord? The best example to see all three parts of God in the Old Testament is where Elijah has ran for his life from Jezebel after all her prophets of baal had been killed by God in their test with Elijah. He fled to a cave.. and there the Lord - the Word of the Lord appeared to him. In the Hebrew the term was Devar Hashem - The Word of the Torah. This manifestation of God asked Elijah what he was doing there. Elijah responded with a rehearsed response. He then told him to stand in the mouth of the cave for the LORD was about to pass by. Note, the word LORD in the Hebrew text signified only Hashem or YHWH (Yahweh to us).. they revered Gods name SO much they wouldnt say the entire name. Old Testament.........New Testament El Shaddai...............God the Father Word of the Lord.... Jesus Holy Spirit.................Holy Spirit Jesus =The Word.....Read this slowly.. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS GOD. HE was in the beginning WITH God. All things were made THROUGH HIM, and without him was not any thing made that was made. He was in the world, and the world was MADE THROUGH HIM, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, And the WORD BECAME FLESH and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:1-4, 11,14 Simply put - Jesus Existed BEFORE he was Jesus as The Word of God.. he MADE the world.. made US.. then Came to us. He also said NO ONE has EVER seen God (The Father) at any time.. including anyone in the OT. Who did they see? Jesus. Dont believe it? How about this: In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and THROUGH WHOM also he made the universe. Hebrews 1:1-2 God came to us in the Flesh because we cannot look upon Him as he is. He knew the ONLY way to save what had been lost was to offer himself for our sins since He (Jesus) knew no sin. This is the birth we celebrate.. the actual manifestation of God in the Flesh. The very one who knelt down and fashioned clay to become flesh.. the one who created woman out of mans rib. The creator of every living thing in the universe. This is the birth we celebrate. God Bless you all, and Merry Christmas.
