Who will be in Vietnam this fall? Im about to update my Jodi Eats newsletter and site to announce this years food walk dates. Im opening spots from November through early January for those hungry readers who come through Saigon. Last year I got to meet over a hundred of you, many with copies of my book to sign, and all of whom brought insatiable appetites. From tiny street corner coffees to chaotic intersections to new dishes, I got to share some of my favourite places to eat with readers. I think the best part of it was that I felt like everyone I met would be someone Id love to chat with if I had met them at a party. It was a wonderful thing to think, hey, Ive been writing for a few years, and Im being true to my real personality and tastes if Im bringing in readers who I truly enjoy connecting with in person. So, to those heading to Southeast Asia this fall -- I hope to meet you, and to feed you! Looking forward to kicking off Year 2 of the Jodi Eats project. -Jodi
