#WhoIsMuhammad The man who never spoke an insult even to his enemies; the man who never raised a hand against his enemies; the man who visited even his enemies when they got ill; the man who prayed even for his enemies for God to soften their hearts; the man who was orphaned at 6; the man who forgave the woman (by the name of Hind) who slaughtered his beloved uncle and took his liver out and ate it in front of him and when she asked for forgiveness he gave her the privilege of being considered one of the female companions of Muhammad; the man who was upset when he was not informed of the death of an old woman who used to clean a mosque and when asked about it he said, Why? Is she not significant? the man who never spread Islam by sword but by the perfection of his character; the man who never amassed wealth during his prophethood; the man who ordered not to harm any non muslim and allowed christians to practice their faith in a mosque; the man who cried in his prayer during his final year until his clothes were soaked in tears as he called out ya ummati ya ummati (my nation my nation) and that nation includes non muslims; the man who spared the images of Jesus and Mary at the time when the idols in the Kaaba were destroyed; the man who could have ordered to have all his enemies killed but instead ordered his followers to show them mercy; the man who was offered with all the wealth in Arabia but chose to sit and sleep on the floor that barely gave comfort; the man who walked proudly in Makkah with his daughters at the time when female infanticide was a common practice or giving birth to a daughter was considered a source of shame; the man who said that the life of a muslim is as valuable as that of a non muslim. The man who said that extremism has no place in Islam. Yet despite all of these, he is the most insulted, most misunderstood , and the most common object of mockery in the history of mankind. And had he been alive today, he is the man who would tell us to control our anger and be patient for truly, that is victory. Repost 😊
