Whoever (and however many of them on the team) designed the way Kindle handles clippings must have never had to work with a text longer than a twit or needed a quote. Or, more likely, had never put a though into what he/she/they were doing. Whatever it was, the result is and awful mixture of useless information with actual highlighted text from multiple sources. I find this more and more common lack of imagination and/or desire to find out how things work very troubling.
