Whoever is Ekiti State Governor-elect, Ayodele Fayoses, Media - TopicsExpress

Whoever is Ekiti State Governor-elect, Ayodele Fayoses, Media Adviser should urgently assist him. The man does not need all these mouth-running. He lost a senatorial race not too long ago. He was also impeached. So, he should desist from seeing himself as a political god. We expect that the challenges facing Ekiti State, just like other parts of the country will be Fayoses major preoccupation today ahead of being sworn in by October. Unemployment, Education, Healthcare Services, Agro-Allied Development and Improvement of Rural Infrastructure are issues Fayose should be dusting up a blue-print to sort out. Loads of money from the Centre cannot help Ekiti. It is quality Vision and a deep Commitment to serve the people that can help our people. And, Fayose does not have eternity. Secondly, he will not be running a military Administration as there is still a House of Assembly dominated by the APC on ground. In Ekiti State today, the expectation remains that Fayose will hit the ground running in terms of meeting the basic needs of the people through the areas mentioned above - not running his mouth against Fashola, Obasanjo and any other person as if that is what he promised Ekiti people. He spoke like this before he was kicked out as Governor. And he may not realise he is proving that NOTHING has changed in him despite his promise before the election that he does not have area boys qualities in him again. From the hand of fellowship extended to Fayose by Fayemi earlier, a committee ought to have been set up today to ensure a seamless work process transfer in October. In fact, if properly done, despite the fact that Fayemis tenure is about to end, the shape of policies to come should have been showing itself by now in activities concerning government in Ekiti State. Enough of this mouth-running. Fayose should start preparing for quality governance.
