Whooooo, whoooooo, whooooo had a good day in the Torcher Chamber? ME! Not because of how my beads turned out but because I had so much fun making them! It never fails; when I go a while without torching, I get cranky. Mr. MoonDog will look at me, point toward the studio and say, Go melt something. Do it now! :) Theres just something very therapeutic about feeling the gentle tug of molten glass flowing and winding round and round. Anyway, I mentioned in my post earlier this morning that I was making leaves. Im excited about these and want to practice more and maybe see if I can make a set for a chunky necklace when Im happier with them. I also made some test beads for a 4th color in my Twisted series. I swore I wasnt going to add another color but Im kind of liking the cobalt. What do you think? I did the little Owl just after my post this a.m. His name is Oswald and he will be joined by many brothers and sisters in the days to come. I love making silly, whimsical beads. Maybe Ill try an chicken next! Lastly, I made a dragonfly for a special friend, because I know the reason why she suggested it earlier today.
