Sometimes those people offering assistance outside government depts can speed things up...sometimes not...Message from Naomi S: Not sure if my SA buddies are aware of this going on in SA, but just thought I’d put this out there to warn people…My mother needed a duplicate of her car registration documents. On finally getting my mom to go to the Traffic Department (in Polokwane), she was conned by people that are hanging around there, making promises that they can help, taking the money for the “applications” and then… Well, just nothing really!!! I finally got my mom to go back as the woman was just making excuse after excuse, just to be told that they never received her application and there is no trace of the money. Really??? I am so annoyed (with myself mostly) and have been telling my mom for months that the woman was too good to be true…South Africa, I will love you forever, but just for today, I don’t like you very much...
