Whos Little Piggie Are You? They say baby pigs are really cute, and extremely smart. Smarter even than dogs! Many people raise the little pot belly pigs, they are so popular. I dont mean to insult the human race by calling us pigs, but I do see some resemblances in us sometimes. For instance, some people like to play in the pig pen of sin, when they know better. Just a little sin here, a little sin there and pretty soon they are acting just like everyone else. You cant play in the mud without getting some of it on you. Pretty soon youve developed a lifestyle of thinking and acting that would have been foreign to you when you were closer to the Lord. Sin is like the tide starting to come in when your at the beach, you dont notice it until its too late. The Bible tells a story about the Prodigal Son, who took all his money and went into a far country. While the money lasted he partied and had a good time with his friends. But when his money ran out so did his so called friends and he ended up with a job in the pig pen feeding the pigs. The Bible says that when he came to himself he decided to go home to his father and beg his forgiveness for his foolishness. What he did not know is that his father was waiting to welcome him back with open arms! If God is your Heavenly Father and you have drifted away from Him, be assured He is waiting and longing for you to come back home. All you have to do is ask His forgiveness and He will wipe out your past and give you a brand new start. He is the God of second chances!
