Whos coming to Ecuador with us?!?! Grateful Blessings’ Mission Trip to Ecuador March 2015 Who? We are bringing not only a medical team, but anyone who would like to support with impoverished communities, orphans, and disabled individuals throughout the bordering communities of Cuenca. Heading the mission trip on behalf of the United States include Zachary Pearson (pediatric cardiologist, MD), Miriam Pearson-Martinez (certified midwife) Jorge Cano (respiratory therapist), and Brittany Shaw (critical care registered nurse). What? We will be providing spiritual teachings (Christianity), medical care, dental care, chiropractic adjustments, clothing, food, and art therapy. Most importantly, we are committed to spreading peace, love, and joy! We will have the clinic on March 4, 5, 6, and 9. The 7-8 (Saturday and Sunday) will be free days to explore the communities. When? March 3, 2014- March 10, 2014. Where? We will fly into Guayaquil, Ecuador. The missionaries, Robert and Miriam Raines, will be greeting us and drive us to Paute, Ecuador, where we will be based, which is about 45 minutes outside of Cuenca. Check out their webpage changedforeverministries/ We will stay in a local hostel in Paute. Why? We have a desire to support and give to the world! We live abundantly, not only spiritually but also physically. Many things that we can count on living in the United States, food, clean water, medical and dental resources, education system, and shelter, are not always easily accessible or even possible for others. This mission provides us the opportunity to spread love and abundance through the world. Cost: Cost of airfare plus $80 a day for 7 days ($560). The $80 a day includes, all transportation to and from the airport and to the communities for clinic, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, bottle water, overnight accommodations at a local hostel, and translators. How can you help? Join us! Can’t join us? Donations help tremendously! This trip is individually funded so any support is greatly appreciated. We need funds for medicine, food, dental supplies, clothing, accommodations of those who are going, and art supplies. We also need children’s shoes/boots, medical supplies, medicines including prenatal vitamins, children vitamins, men’s vitamins, Tylenol, ibuprofen, antacids, and antibiotics, dental care supplies, Bibles in Spanish, and art supplies. You can also sponsor an orphan. Please ask us more about this program. Questions? Contact Brittany Shaw or Miriam Pearson-Martinez.
