Read instructions on safety measures for fitting chains and what wheels to fit them on. • Put anti freeze in radiator. • Consider fuel treatment particularly if staying over night. • Carry recovery gear, wear gloves. • Carry good quality high capacity jumper leads. • Ensure starting battery is fully charged and in good condition. • For off road snow trips always travel with at least one other vehicle. • Comply with driving technique suitable for snow/sub zero temperatures. • If stopping over night, lift windscreen wipers off glass, leave handbrake off and chock wheel.
