Whos read this news piece? WOW. This is fascinating, and interesting as the intervention they are using is FAR more direct than I see being used in the UK, but I could be wrong as I dont work on the front line, so my comments can only go so far. But it does seem more accountability is being put on the child to change habits, and the whole family. Can more of this be done in the UK, who knows, it seems it might take a lot more resources / financial input!? Read the lifestyle changes in the right hand column under the photo, very interesting, and ultimately very true and spot on. Perhaps there are some dieticians or frontline staff that could input into this conversation, is 5 hours of intervention time realistic, as thats what this intervention is using?
