Why - Some people have asked us WHY we should give a damm about the past and WHY should we care about a war that happened over 350 years ago. Our answer is simple - The English Civil War turned the world upside down for everyone within England and its legacy was shown in the subsequent revolutions in countries such as America, France, Russia and the democratic propose that exists today around the world. Please never underestimate the influence that this conflict had globally and we should be very proud that the birth of modern democracy happened right here on our shores. Whether you like history or not, the fundamental right for everyone to have a voice and a vote and the ability to change governments happened because men of conviction and courage stood up and apposed a dictatorship in 1640.
