Why Are So Many Christians Turning Into Atheists? Ex-pastor Ryan Bell concluded: I dont think God exists. I suggest requiring God exist - and then rationalizing that existence, for example, I prayed for and received an A on that test, therefore God exists - is the problem. Instead, I suggest a focus on the message of Christ: Do onto others … as the way to sustain Christianity. Spread Compassion for and Assistance to those around you. Take care of yourself that you will be strong for others, with prayer as a meditation and one ritual on that journey … may be a more Christian Path. By that measure, I am a major sinner … but I know it, and dont like myself doing it, pray for more empathy, and ask your support when I fall.
