Why Cannabis (Marijuana) Will Never Be Legalized As evidenced by the recent actions of the Michigan Senate, which chose to let two key medical bills get trashed by inactivity, it is apparent that cannabis legalization is just as far from being a reality as it ever was. The problem? Stupid assholes (most of which work in law enforcement) who have a vested interest in continuing the war on marijuana users. Who see us as investment opportunities, not tax-paying citizens. To the ones running our justice system we are cattle, livestock to be herded into for-profit prison cells. Maybe its time to stop being so easy-going and start putting the thumb screws on these martyrs. After all, Police work for us. And they need to realize that. Im not sure what the solution is, but it certainly isnt waiting for the assholes in the Senate to do something intelligent. Those pricks.
