Why Civil Disobedience is a smart move by Imran khan?????? ( I think IK has played a very Smart Move) Reasons are 1. By Calling for Civil Disobedience IK has bought time not to have physical contact between Police/ Army and youth, rather by getting 2 days he has put the onus on PAT what will they do when their deadline finishes in 22 hrs. 2. It will increase pressure on Govt from international forces, because if this happens Pakistan will not be able to pay back Loans and our Finance Minister is in Dubai right now to meet IMF. 3. All successful revolutions in the world e.g., Nelson Mandela’s, Orange revolution, singing revolution had civil disobedience part in them, so though ppl in Pak might not understand as they do not read books but international media will pick it up and pressure will increase on Govt. to hold talks or listen to protesters (see Moeed Pirzada’s commen, available online) 4. He does not want to give it all yet by resigning from NA and PA. that should be the last option. (A close friend has suggested that Every hour one PTI MNA should come to the stage and give his resignation to the crowd from here onwards. This will keep media and crowd glued, If someone can pass this on to IK this could change the whole scenario tomorrow) As a proof of success of the strategy, Govt has already started offering talks now and softening their tone. Above all movements are not made successful in a couple of days, it takes time and there are many ups and downs. Lets wait and see what happens in next couple of days.......
