Why Do Women Always Choose the Bad Boy? There comes a time in a woman’s life we all must ask the age old question….why do we always choose the bad boy over the good man? I know in my lifetime of 34 years I have often asked myself the exact same thing only to come up at a total loss for an answer. I think most would agree that the drama and taboo that comes from a bad boy relationship can certainly be exhilarating for sure, but at what cost? Ladies are we selling ourselves short for a long term love affair to have a short term lust affair? Why do some of us let men compare our relationships like we are a pair of high heels we take off at the end of the day and put away until they need us? As individuals we all probably have different reasons or different answers to all of these questions but as women, we all come from the same genetic code and are morally obligated to share our advice and opinions to help our fellow women. So it is here it is ladies. My opinion is that we choose these men because it’s exciting and new—for a short while—but once we realize, it’s too late. We are so deeply in love (or what we think is love) we find it almost life altering to leave or end it. Time and time again, I see strong and beautiful women who have so much empowerment inside them, in these horrible relationships that stifle their true self. I spent years in one of them and it took great courage to leave but I am who I am today because of it. Do not hate, just forgive and move one and know you are not alone, ladies. You are strong, beautiful and you can do whatever you set your mind to!
