Why Dont People Who Cheat Call Off Their Present Relationship Before Cheating? Touching story, hear this. My ex boyfriend and I broke up after I caught him cheating and it was a very bad breakup. I asked him why he cheated, he said I wasnt treating him right. Obviously, that was a very big lie but I kept wondering, you knew you were unhappy, why didnt you just tell me it was over. Why didnt he just call off our relationship before going ahead to cheat on me. Instead of working me up, then horribly break my heart the way he did?! Lolzzzzz any comment.
