Why God is called a father not a mother..... Once one of my pastors said there is a reason why God is called a father and not a mother and people looked offended. But here are the reasons why He is called a father: The father is the head of the family and he is supposed to take care of the family in all circumstances. The family lays all their needs to the father and they dont care where the father will get the resources. But in the end the familys needs are met. The father protects and fights for his family even when his family is wrong he still defends them. The father accumulates wealth that he gives to his children as inheritance When a child is born he or she takes the fathers surname because for you to acquire the wealth your identity document has to have the same surname as your fathers ( hence little gods!) So imagine if God was called a mother....... She would cry and worry everytime something happens and she would have all her wealth be taken by her relatives!! #ThereIsAReasonWhyGodIsTheFather
