Why I am so Thankful for Face Book. In this past year 2014, I have learned to appreciate the information that I have gotten from Face Book that I would not have gotten from any other source. Though I watch the News on Television on several channels, I dont get the real News, I only get Opinions, that are quoted to them by Police Information Officers or other Official Sources, In other words, Propaganda is what we are getting. With 24 Hours in a day, many of those hours are dedicated to News programs that are filled with Weather, Sports, Traffic reports and other Community Fluff to fill the gaps where the Real National News should be. Instead of using the time to Broadcast any real Important News, they just keep repeating their Opinions making small adjustments and errors throughout the 24 hour day. Why not? , because unlike on Face Book there are no rebuttals for the public to demand the truth like in the Comments on Face Book. Foolish people see story put on the News by the Official Information Officer and the listeners swear it must be true, because it was on TV. I witnessed that again this past week as I have many times. A neighbors home burned down, there was a soda bottle partially empty near the home (outside) and without even inspection from closer than 5 feet, a Fireman called it Shake-n-Bake then called for the Meth-Lab-Investigation Unit and the State Fire Marshall. As for myself, I could not tell you if it was or not, because I have no clue about such things, but I do know the Neighbors, the cause of the fire was a stupid mistake in the kitchen and leaving the kitchen unattended too long. I was the first responder, I helped the lady that caused the fire get through the night as the investigation proceeded. Now back to the News reporting, more than 9 hours after the fire began, reporters came to take pictures of the Meth-Lab that they were told about, even though the Fire Marshall himself told me that the test results would not be known for days. Nobody told reporters that it was a kitchen accident but me. So now the neighborhood has gone wild with rumors of how amazing it was that a Meth-Lab was right under our nose and nobody knew. Amazingly they will even fight that it is a fact, because they got the OFFICIAL NEWS on TV. I am Thankful for Facebook for allowing the public to voice facts and to let us know more than the Official News reports.
