Why I like USPS over UPS. I ordered stuff for Christmas for my kids, suppose to be delivered by UPS but no they claim they gave the package to USPS. As a former employee of Post Office they have their own scan bar, and to ensure quality customer service scanning everything was enforced. Why my package had to be tossed to another company to begin with is bothersome enough. Post office a more personable service, they care about their customers in fact all mail carriers I know, know their customers by name, are friendly and make time for their needs of the postal services. As I mentioned before I use to work for USPS and I know the quality of customer service they strive for. Had my package been delivered by post office they would have answer for why my package wasnt there, I call Ups they say call amazon. Post office doesnt brush their problems off on someone else. They try and make everyone of their customers happy. I know their are thieves and such, however Ive ordered from amazon several times and never had a problem! We got complaint all the time on Ups. Support your local post office, their not perfect but they do care about having you as a customer. Handling and delivering the mail isnt always fun and can be a bit stressful, but more than likely your mail carrier has a smile on their face and they take pride in delivering your package or mail to you.
