Why I open carry. I just went to the car wash and as I pull in there is a car leaving and a truck sitting by the vacuums running Windows up no-one outside. Empty other than that. I got to the wash bay with my 40 on my side but was covered by a coat since it was cold. I start washing and as I make my first lap around my truck I notice there now is someone standing outside of the truck on passenger side with door closed standing squared off looking my direction. I keep washing while never turning my back on the second time around I notice individual still standing there staring my way. I add some money and switch to rinse (so this has been Atleast 3 min of him just starring my way with no other obvious intention to what hes doing) now I pull my coat up over my side arm to ensure fast response if needed. And as I made my way around my truck this time exposing my obvious sidearm he suddenly gets in the passenger side of the truck and it drives off. ??? Who knows if it was anything at all but it sure felt strange and possibly open carry could have saved me from getting robbed or worse.
