Why, I want to share this e-mail i received. Because once you determine in your mind that you are going to take action on an idea all the way, TRULY believe in it and yourself, you will accomplish what you set out to do. NO more telling yourself it is impossible. Today is your day to write out that list of wants and one by one make it a reality. Jasen did it, I did it now its your turn. I think the last time I spoke to you was when I was trying to get into comics. You give out the best advice and inspire. Thats a big key to success is having others believe in it. Since then, I have gotten the chance to do a lot of things that my previous job would never have allowed me to do. I have worked with some of the biggest talents in comics including Marc Silvestri, Brian Miller, on DC comics, and more. I didnt want to stop at comics. I wanted more, so I started a documentary which has been picking up steam and getting people interested. Its about the people in comics and their lives and what it takes to make them. I dont want to stop there either. I want more, another goal to set and achieve. I have made music for the documentary and when someone listened to a song they said, So, youre not going to make comics, youre going into music? in a very sarcastic tone. I reply with, Why stop at comics, I want to be in all of it. Comics, video games, music, movies. each day I follow my gut and each day has lead me down a greater road and onto bigger things. I never gave up, its been hard but its been the best time of my life. Thank you Stephen! Jasen Smith
