Why Im a Libertarian and respect very, very few democrats or republicans. If you need government to manage your life and govern the boundaries for which you live in, you are a slave. True freedom and its followers do not invite tyranny in the form of more government and oversight. Freedom is the very, very, least amount of government involvement in our personal lives as possible, a flat tax, secure borders (to insure sovereignty), and a military to defend our shores. Thats it. It IS that simple. Just read the Constitution and the maxims of Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, George Washington, and Robert E. Lee.
