Why It Should Be Happy God Day And Not Happy Birthday!!! Shalom - TopicsExpress

Why It Should Be Happy God Day And Not Happy Birthday!!! Shalom Brothers and Sisters, we were all brought into the world not of our own accord. What do I mean by this? No one asked to be born; most parents plan to have a child, but are they really the ones responsible for the child that they think they have planned? Well in truth the answer to that is: NO!!! Why? Because God/Yahweh is responsible for everyone being born into the world, before you were ever planned in the minds of your parents. God/Yahweh had already planned your life for, in fact even before your parents even knew each other… Isn’t that remarkable!!! So brothers and sisters for that reason this is: Why It Should Be Happy God Day And Not Happy Birthday!!! The passage from the Word of God/Yahweh for today is Jeremiah 1:5 that reads; “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” You see from this Scripture passage that God/Yahweh knew us before we were even formed in the womb of our mothers. So, what does this tell you? Well it should be telling you that even though you have earthly parents whom you should grow and listen too, you have a heavenly Father/Abba: He is responsible for your very first breathe of air to breath… He is the one responsible for the first thing that you see… And He is also the one responsible for you being thankful for being born!!! Yesterday, March the 16th 2014, our son Israel joined us in a day of prayer and thanks for God/Yahweh bringing him into the world three years ago!!! We did not like many others celebrate a birthday party with cake, presents and friends around who would also give presents… No, we spent it in prayer thanking God/Yahweh for him being given to us, to help him grow in the Word of God/Yahweh. His purpose being brought into the world was not for SELF, as what a birthday celebration is all about. What do I mean by this? What is a birthday? A birthday according to the world is a day when you invite family and friends around to celebrate the age of your son or daughter, brother or sister, dad or mum. In turn they will come and lavish you with presents and money, to make your day feel good, and to make you feel important!!! How many of you out there, now be honest about this!!! How many of you out there celebrate a birthday and even bow your head in prayer and thank God/Yahweh for giving you life and bringing you into the world to serve and worship Him? Now after being honest about your answer, how do you feel? Because I really do not think that many of you reading this said; “Yes of course I do every year.” Instead I feel that many of you felt a little ashamed at the fact that you again are forgetting your whole reason being here on this earth, to serve, thank and worship our Father/Abba God/Yahweh for planning us and bringing us into His world!!! You see a worldly birthday celebration is all about SELF and not about God/Yahweh. If you truly love your Father/Abba then on this date of the year, you should be remembering as a special day that God/Yahweh brought you here for His purpose to be fulfilled and not yours… A birthday should be a day of Remembrance!!! Should Birthdays be celebrated? According to the Word of God/Yahweh is there any Scriptural verse that actually tells us as Believers to celebrate a birthday? No!!! You will not find, in the entire Bible a verse telling a Believer or even a non-believer to celebrate a birthday celebration!!! In fact, only three times is a birthday mentioned in the Bible the Word of God/Yahweh: The first account is in the book of Genesis where Pharaoh, the Egyptian king, celebrated his birthday by executing his chief baker as we see in Genesis 40:1-23. God/Yahweh gave Joseph special understanding of a dream by Pharaoh’s butler and baker, that the baker would lose his life three days after Joseph interpreted the dream. Joseph understood that Pharaoh would use this occasion at his own birthday party and use it to put his baker to death. As the dream had foretold, the baker was hung at the party!!! In the second account, the New Testament figure Herod beheaded John the Baptist in Matthew 14:3-11. When you read this take note what it says in verse six; “But when Herod’s birthday was kept…” During the dancing and merry-making at his birthday party, Herod got carried away and eventually made a promise that he did not want to keep. As a result, a great servant of God/Yahweh lost his life!!! The final account is found in the book of Job, where the Bible says that Job’s seven sons; “went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them,” in Job 1:4. These parties were obviously not centered on any kind of celebration related to God/Yahweh, or Job would not have worried that his children may have sinned during these celebration feasts. He was not exactly sure what was going on in their minds, but the very celebration of their birthdays triggered great concern in him as you can read in Job 1:5. Apparently, during the birthday party of Job’s oldest son, God/Yahweh allowed Satan to kill all ten of Job’s children through what appears to be a tornado, read this in verses 6-13 and 18-19. Further proof that these birthday celebrations displeased God/Yahweh is found in book of Job 3. Take time to read the entire chapter carefully... Job spends much time cursing every aspect of the day of his birth. The loss of all of his children, due to a birthday celebration, stunned and sobered him. His words make plain that there is nothing good about the day of a man’s birth. He openly cursed the day he was born. This is the only three-birthday party described in the entire Bible!!! Absolute disaster occurred on each occasion!!! If God/Yahweh felt birthday celebrations were something positive and good, why wouldn’t He have recorded one other account where something either good or positive happened? Or the celebration of His Son Jesus Christ/Yeshua!!! Yet, there is no such account… Hello!!! As a Believer in God/Yahweh and His Word, does this not ring alarm bells in your head? If even the birthday of Jesus/Yeshua God/Yahweh’s only Son, is not recorded anywhere in the Word of God/Yahweh, does this not make you realize that a birthday celebration comes from man and their SELF-attitude and not from God/Yahweh!!! I, as a Pastor of God/Yahweh and not a pastor of the world or man, will have no involvement in any celebration that is not written in the Word of God/Yahweh and is for mans own SELF-greed. Our son Israel, was a gift given to us from God/Yahweh, it is not our place to involve or let him be involved with worldly ways. His life will be to serve God/Yahweh in thanks, to worship God/Yahweh in everything that he does and to preach and share the Gospel of Truth, the Good News to all as his brother Jesus/Yeshua did… My friends, brothers and sisters should be a lesson and should be how you are bringing up your children as God/Yahweh’s children and not the worlds. How can we know for sure that we came from God/Yahweh? Let us read what Jesus/Yeshua Himself said about this question, in John 3:1-21; “Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You[c] must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked. “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.” For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” Does this not answer the question!!! Every year, as we also do for ourselves and for Israel, we remember on this day years before God/Yahweh brought us into the world to serve Him and fulfill His purpose. You should do so also, instead of celebrating a SELF-centered day, which gives no Glory to God/Yahweh what so ever. You see we are all still here on this earth that He brought us into that means the purpose that He has for each one of us has still not yet been fulfilled. We as Believer should continue to work at it, not to give in to the world’s way and fall by their way of thinking. We should be strong in our faith and belief that God/Yahweh wants us to serve and fulfill His purpose till the end; this means there should be no room for any worldly ways in your life: No birthdays… No chirstmas… No easter… No halloween… No days of remembrance for any human being, dead or alive… No celebration that is for mans own SELF-gain with no Glory to God/Yahweh!!! I will tell you now that Israel our son, had a better day than any other child celebrating a pagan worldly birthday party. He listened to our prayers and said; “Amen!” When we were not praying we played and talked to him, he laughed and listened. There was no noise, no screaming and shouting of other children, but only the still silence between God/Yahweh and us. Israel was not jealous of other children at a party; he had no one to fight with over them touching his new toys, as what always happens at these pagan parties. Israel had only God/Yahweh to thank and no one else (with the exception of our love for him of course)… As a Believer that many say they are, there should be no involvement of the world and it’s ways in your daily living at all… Instead your daily living and daily walk in life should be all around thanking God/Yahweh for your very presence on this earth, the breath that you take every moment of the day and the things that you see and feel around you are indeed the very presence of God/Yahweh Himself in your life!!! Why are we here? To give Glory to God/Yahweh alone, written in the Word in Isaiah 43:7 God/Yahweh says; “Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made” Also in 1 Corinthians 10:31 it says; “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” We should all be fulfilling what is written in Psalm 86:12; “I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.” Bringing Glory to God/Yahweh means to bring Him honor through what we say, how we act, and how we think... To Glorify God/Yahweh means to acknowledge His Glory and to value it above all things... To Glorify God/Yahweh means we make it known to others... To Glorify God/Yahweh means we have a heartfelt gratitude... We Glorify God/Yahweh through our faith our trust... We Glorify God/Yahweh through our love... We Glorify God/Yahweh through our desire to obey Him, our obedience in everything around us... We Glorify God/Yahweh through our desire to know Him!!! Ask yourselves this today: Am I, as a servant, a child of God/Yahweh doing all that is written above? Am I, giving Glory to God/Yahweh by celebrating any pagan festival, tradition or celebration that can be found nowhere in the Word of God/Yahweh? Am I, by being involved in the world and it’s ways not giving glory to the god of this world Satan and myself? Should Glory to God/Yahweh not be given 100% instead of only 99%? This means that everything should be done for God/Yahweh only and not for SELF!!! This includes the pagan celebration of birthdays that do not exist in the Word of God/Yahweh!!! Well Israel had his day of remembrance without a party and without presents, and he did not feel any different than other children. Why? Because the giving of presents and parties, can be given everyday and on any day of the year not just for pagan celebrations. Every day we should give Glory and thanks to God/Yahweh!!! So my brothers and sisters, remember on your next remembrance day that this is: Why It Should Be Happy God Day And Not Happy Birthday!!! Happy God Day Israel!!! (Every day) Be Blessed in the name and shed blood of Jesus Christ/Yeshua and do things as a Believer according to the Word of God/Yahweh and not man or the world, in this case: Happy God Day and not Happy Birthday… Hallelujah, Amen!!!
