Why Not Surat & Surati? When in Pune District in 2014 BJP won on 1 MP(out of 4 seats) and 11 MLA (out of 21 Seats) and PMC, PCMC both Municipal Corp are lead by INC+NCP. Though Punes people, NGOs and political leader/parties started demanding to execute Metro/Mono, Railway Terminal/Station up gradation, Outer Ring Road, SEZ, IT/Auto/Pharma Park etc projects on Fast Track. ---------------------------------------------- Why Not Surat and Surati citizens & city leaders(Mayor/MLA/MP) and Political Parties demanding these for Surat to execute on FAST TRACK rather than long time Work-in-Progress/On Hold work. After all Surat SMC lead by BJP, 12 MLA(out of 12 seats) of BJP, 3 MP(out of 3 Seats) BJP. Municipal Corporation, State, Center all are BJP now. Metro/Mono/LRT, Extension of Network of BRTS, IT SEZ, AIIMS(Medical College), IIIT(Indian Institute of IT), Functional STPI, Surat Diamond Bourse/Dream City, Gem & Jewlery Park-Ichchhapore, Special Entertainment Zone, more SEZs, Outer Ring Road, Circular Railway, The Hub(30 sotry building), Full Fladged Airport, Air Cargo Hub, Separate Railway Division for Surat under WR HQ Mumbai, Udhana Terminal, Surat Terminal at Surat Goods Yard, Container Depot/Goods Terminal at Sachin,Surat-Nashik Railway, ------------------------------------ As Pune District in 2014 BJP won on 1 MP(out of 4 seats) and 11 MLA (out of 21 Seats), where as 1 MP and 8 MLA in City Punes people, NGOs and political leader/parties started demanding to execute this projects on Fast Track. - Pune-Pimpri-Chinchwad Metro Railway - Hadapsar Railway Terminal - Outer Ring Road of 161.73 Km with 13 Tunnels, 4 Railway Birdges, 12 Flyovers, 14 Subways, 7 Viduct/Bridges on Velly - Public/City Bus Service - Bridges/Flyovers/Roads - Solid Waste Mgmt/Sewage Treatment
