Why Orkut is better than Facebook? 1.) Theme A human being eats variety of food. You can’t live eating only one type of food right? Same is the case with Facebook themes. How can anyone like using the same white theme for years? You can apply third-party themes for Facebook using some applications, but Facebook officially doesn’t release any themes. While Orkut has a collection of more than 50 themes! 2.) Security Facebook has a lot of security issues. Recently Bitdefender Security firm claims that Facebook’s news feed were Malware loaded! Every fifth link on your news feed could lead to malicious code.The report says that-Bitdefender’s “ safego” app scans your Facebook’ s wall posts, messages for Malware. One in every five users of Facebook are Malware affected. 3.) Advertisements Facebook is full of ads . You can find ads on hompage, Apps page almost everywhere. You can’t find a single advertisement on Orkut. 4.) Flexibility In facebook you can write messages / wall posts to your friends only in english, but in Orkut you can write in any language! Orkut accepts HTML tags in the “Bio” field of profile, while Facebook only accepts pure text. 5.) Facebook blog The facebook blog is full of bugs. This is what I get when I click any post! You can visit their blog Here . Facebook is a site with millions of users and can’t they solve these bugs? It would be better to call Facebook as Facebug. 5) User friendly Orkut is like NOKIA phone that could be easily operated by everyone. and providing chances to associate with great people even with whomr you dont know..but facebook is very restricted in sending friend requests. 1 User has been blocking out of 10 users for every second. . . .
