Why Paul?? Why Network Marketing?? Some friends have been asking me why I am doing network marketing. What happened to me in the last year? So here’s why. It’s not about network marketing. It’s a total change in my philosophy. My brother introduced me to Robert Kiyosaki and his books, Rich Dad Poor Dad, and Cashflow Quadrant. He explains assets and liabilities in a way I had never heard before. So basically I learned that my home is a liability, not an asset. And I learned the real definition of an asset. An asset brings you income every month, whether you are working or not. I didn’t have any assets. I don’t own homes that I rent out. I don’t own a franchise. I am fortunate to have a good job in the pharmaceutical industry, but that industry laid off over 50% of its workforce in the last 3 years and those jobs will never return. Any job as an employee only pays you if you’re there, putting in the hours. So I buy the Kiyosaki philosophy. I’m totally converted to finding a way to build an asset for my family. I can never go back. Kiyosaki has another book called the Business for the 21st Century. He talks about how network marketing is the perfect business for building an asset with low cost and low risk. Makes sense. Network marketing is very different now. Many choices, great products, great training. It does require me to get out of my comfort zone, but if you find something that makes sense and really benefits you, it’s not hard to share. I’ve done a lot of research in the last year. I’ve bounced around. I’ve talked to super successful people to see and understand what it takes. There are good opportunities and bad opportunities. I’ve found a good one.
