Why Rajeev Gandhi was murdered in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu has many terrorist linked political organizations and has many ambitions of getting power through terrorism. Some reliable information is that LTTE supporting political groups in Tamil Nadu repeatedly pressurized LTTE chief Prabaharan to murder Rajeev Gandhi in Tamil Nadu so that, (as happened in Delhi after the assassination of Indira Gandhi), many Tamils living in Mumbai and Delhi would be killed and there will be revolt in Tamil Nadu. Using such a confused lawless situation, the groups could demand separate Tamil Nadu and the demand will get full support. The expectation of MDMK and a fraction of DK were to achieve separate Tamil Nadu and separate Tamil Elam, forced Prabaharan to murder Rajeev. The information is, initially Prabaharan was reluctant to do that sin of murdering Rajeev, but the repeated visit of some leaders to Sri Lanka and continuous agitation in Tamil Nadu made Prabaharan to commit the sin. The CIB probably did not investigate the case properly and the Indira Congress felt that some of the members would know the crime will get into trouble. So the case was not fully investigated to fix all the criminals. Everyone in India is aware that when Rajeev was assassinated no congress leader got injured. At the critical time all ran away from the site and saved their life. The plot of terrorist linked political groups for separate Tamil Nadu could not materialize as the people of India did not harm Tamils in any part of India. This shows the love of Indian on Tamils and their faith on Tamils. One reason is they knew Tamil Nadu had great leader like Perunthalaivar K.kamaraj and sacrificed comforts for India. Again Center should reinvestigate the case and fix the culprits and book them.
