Why? That is a question that we start asking as children. And we never really stop asking it. I have found myself in these last few weeks asking Why is my Grandma suffering? Why wont God just take her home? Why is God making us go through all of this? I can not profess to know the mind of God. I believe He is okay with me asking. I also believe that He is answering me. I am going to share what I believe His answers are. I believe the reason she has not been called home yet is because God is not done with her yet. I believe He is still sending a message through her life. I believe He is using her, even in her weakened state, to touch the lives of my Aunts, who care for her daily, and show them exactly just how strong and compassionate they are. I believe He is using her life to show my Dad how precious it is to have a relationship with my Sister and I. I believe he is using her to bring our family closer together, though many of us live miles away. I believe He is using her to remind me of the extraordinary gift of love, and how I should not take it for granted. My Grandma took care and watched over many children throughout her many years. She loved them as her own, and she is cherished by so many. Many of you may have beliefs that are different from mine. I understand. This world throws many things at us, and it shapes and shifts our thoughts so we may be able to deal with our issues in a way that is easier for us to understand. As for me, I believe that there is a God in heaven. He has a Son, Jesus Christ. I believe His love is so great for us, He made a way for us to be with Him for eternity, though we are not perfect. And I believe that He is never truly done with a persons life here on earth, even after they have taken their last breath. How many people do we still learn from who have been gone from this world for centuries. So take hope. Love strong. And believe...
