Why Wanda doesnt discuss math with me anymore: Wanda: I got us some more floss for our weekend bag. Its a 50 yard package. Me: Cool. That should last us the weekend. Wanda: Youre going to use half a football field of floss over the weekend? Me: ::puzzled look:: Wanda: Yknow, a football field is 100 yards. Think about how long 50 yards is. Half of that. Me: Well, now it depends on what kind of yard youre talking about. Out in the country they have yards that can span two counties, but when I lived in the city, there were some yards so small that a Pomeranian couldnt even take a poop. You put a hundred of those together and thats not very big at all, but those country yards, a hundred of them would stretch for miles! Wanda: ::shaking her head::
