Why Zambia will not host AFCON 2019. AFCON competitions are a form of business and should be marketed. Zambia needed intense marketing strategies by both the private sector and government. I dont know how many people know that Kalusha will be making a formal presentation for our bid today. May I ask who comprises the lobbying team that Kalusha will present to CAF to show that Zambia is serious about hosting AFCON 2019. If Dr Kenneth Kaunda and other prominent Zambians and government representatives are not with Kalusha we should not expect anything other than third position. Did we look at the composition of the team that conducted inspections Carefully? AFCON 2019 will be held in Cameroon or Ivory Coast without a doubt. But who should take the blame for missing Out? My take is that FAZ and its President should shoulder the blame. Kalusha cant lobby alone. He needed to engage the private sector and government to market Zambias willingness to host and create a feeling of Zambias desperation on CAF.
