Why all the press today? well the BBC had conducted it own research and found that fines were up by 70% (not really surprising) some had mentioned about the BBC Breakfast interview this morning when the HT on that interview said about the first fine is £60 the second will be a £1000. There is no link that we can find that we can point you to where it says that. But if your classed as a repeat offender, then they can raise the fine, order an education supervision order, school attendance order, parental order among other things ending in prosecution or straight to prosecution. If this anger you, like it angers us, then you can help. Help us gather more support, tell everyone about this campaign. Another letter is about to go out to the 217,000 that signed the 38 degrees petition (i cant put the link in as new item is already linked - will put it in the comments) share the petition again to get new parents to sign. Get parents to write a passionate letter to your MP asking to sign the EDM (early day motion - started by our chairman John Hemming) do not stop writing until you get a reply from him. What does this do? It allows us to build a picture up of who around the country supports parents and those that do not support so we then can target areas around the country with more campaigning. We have had about 30 responses maybe? there are 300 MPs so we still need you to continue to write to them. Finally there are car stickers to put on your cars to show support for 2.50. Again i will put picture up in the comments below. Come september, we will be pushing the school gate letter again. Unfortunately we are unable to attach on FB what it reads. So we will in due course be attaching it to the website so that we hope parents will down load it and print off to give out at schools.
