Why am I not Charlie Hebdo? Well I will simply not be hijacked by extremist positions. I do not have to fully support others simply because someone I also dislike, dislikes them even more than I would do. I do not have to identify with fur producers because someone would bomb their conventions, Christian evangelists because someone would kill them in SAC or muslims because someone would kill them in the same country. I do not have to support Israeli policies even wih a jewish background. I do feel one should be able to discuss all religions in a civilised manner without turning to terrorism or blasphemy. However being properly raised by what I feel were intelligent parents I learnt that blasphemy is the very spark of terror and war. By assuming that one has to support whatever phenomenon a terrorist group would attack terrorists are the winners of the debate. And that is precisely what we shouldnt see happening.
