Why am I so taken with the wispy clouds that linger on and about the crest of the Ortiz? This Ive pondered many times. Of course its lovely, but I am drawn to something much more than the beauty of it. Today it seems a sign, an affirmation. Scripture describes clouds as the dust of Gods feet. So here I experience just how closely the Holy strolls...the nearness...how there is no separation, no distance between...it is a stunning depiction of how heaven and earth are seamless...just as God is One and we are one with the Mystery. Beauty surrounds us, we are filled to overflowing with it...we are invited to walk in the light of the sacred Dust...clouds and mountains, heaven and earth, spirit and form...all the same stuff, all here in this timeless moment. Around, within and for us. We are like a toddler, whose feet are placed atop her fathers feet and walked about, giggling :) No wonder boundless joy is described as walking on a cloud!
