Why and how was Boehner able to retain his position as Speaker of the House in the face of the Challenge from Rep. Louie Gohmert?? Via Steve Chandler III:: I was wondering how long it would take before the new conservative republican members of Congress would sell us out. It took them less than an hour to do it. Commentary by Jim Forrest- - - - Yep, thay had ALREADY sold us OUT when they voted for the CRomnibus Spending Bill with funding included for Obamas Executive Actions on Amnesty for the Illegal Alien Invaders and continuing that very funding through the end ofFebruary, 2015. anf cntinuiing all funding including funding for full implementation of Obamacare and all of Obmas other programs and policies through September 30, 2015 AFTER promising to do every thing possible to HALT Obamas Illegal, Unlawful, and unconstitutional Exxecutive Actions!! Nothing is going to change, Obama is NOT going to be stopped, Conservatives as well as the Middle Class will continue to be betrtayed and screwed OVER by the Establishment Republians and the country, especially the Middle Class,Unless and Until Conservatives begin taking MUCH MORE Aggressive and forceful actions to force the Establishment tochange theirways?? AND, for all of you who have become enamored by Trey Gowdys aggressive interrogations of witnesses appearing in front of House Committee and have thereforeallowed your admiration for his bulldog style during those interrorgations to color your thought process into believing that he would be a great Executive such as the President or VP, KEEP in mind that Gowdy would NOT EVEN show up to VOTE against Boehner BECAUSE Gowdy is a big PART of the Leaderships group!!! To me, that is NOT the sign of a PRINCIPLED LEADER and should shut down ALL discussion of Gowdy being a Conservative LEADER!! And, another painful LESSON that shoulf be learned ftom thisfiasco is that there MUST be some advance planning and campaigning IF we want to be successful. Louie Gohment should have ANNOUNCED SEVERAL WEEKS IN ADVANCE THAT HE INTENDED TO cHALLENGE BOEHNER and, SHOULD HAVE COORDINATED A MASSIVE EFFORT by ALL Conservatives to be pressuring all the elected Representatives and encouraging each and every one to vote against Boehner and to vote for Gohmert, rather than waiting until the LAST second when it was already too late to organize a NATIONWIDE EFFORT to un-seat Boehner!! And, Gohment and his elected supporters also did not have sufficient time the lay out his message and WHY those Representatives should put their political LIVES on the LINE to oppose Boehner!!! We MUST become more intellgent, more Organized, more competent, and much more disciplined IF we are ever to have any real possibility to overcome the Establishment Repulicans to say nothing of the Liberal Democrats!!
