Why anyone uses dating sites to look for new friends is beyond me. I mean, even if one avoids criticizing the spirit of the task so that we dont get bogged down in metaphysics, just the physics of the matter seems absurd. On dating sites most men on there are dogs looking for a bone flooding womens inboxes with the equivalent of an invitation to a pants party. Theres no spirit of friendship in this. It seems to me to be a lost cause, but I stumble across many profiles which state they are looking for friends. Well, then they are looking in a place devoid of them, like looking for water in a desert. One may dig deep beneath the shrubbery and find some, but it is much easier to avoid deserts altogether. Deserts are great if you like sand though.
