Why are people so overwhelmed by the problems of the university that they become blinded of their negativity. People prefer to live under the shadow of their apprehensions rather than welcoming solution. What they see are the shortcomings of the university and declared conclusively that MUST is not worthy to become USTP. Henceforth, they seemed to declare that the students of MUST are generally unworthy to be admitted into a higher level of quality education standard. Why do we have to cling on the status quo when the USTP will provide the solution. Why cant we open our eyes to see whats ahead rather than get stuck with our negativity. This is now the time to make a difference, be part of the solution. USTP generally provides: premier university status, more autonomy, increase budget, compensation package increase for faculty & personnel, better physical facilities, enhanced quality education, industry-academe partnership and many more. The aforementioned are overwhelming benefits for the stakeholders. Why then insist of using the current problems to hinder progress? What do we do then? Let us support the USTP initiative and together we stand to protect the utmost interest of the USTP and the stakeholders. I dont care who will benefit on this for so long as the majority are part of it. But I will call you selfish because you will deprive the next generation of this opportunity.
