Why are soldiers being prosecuted for crimes in war but police are being let off for shooting unarmed civilians on our own soil ? Not trying to talk bad about police officers but a Lt shooting an unarmed scout Taliban fighter whose tracking his platoons position before he can report back saving the lives of his and other soldiers gets 20 years VS. a police officer who confronts an unarmed citizen and takes their life when they feel threatened only has to resign from his job. Are we morally backwards as a nation or what?
