Why are we trying so hard to denigrate the journalism profession in this country? A few months back I was the target of some journalists who found it convenient to do stories that were illogical and untrue and obviously aimed at shutting me down and all. In between time we have seen lots of similar yellow journalism and a total disregard to the ethics of the profession. Daily Guide has now gine ahead to do the unthinkable, and some stupid people are also continuing with it on social media. Why on earth will you publish the remains of anyone from a morgue shot in a newspaper? Daily Guide has almost consistently seen nothing wrong with publishing gruesome shots of dead people in newspaper. What is the role of the National Media Commission? They find this cool? Or I am barking at the wrong tree cos they are basically toothless. My friends at Daily Guide should be ashamed at themselves. We all learnt journalism. Some of us even Mastered in it. That was not what we were taught in journalism school. Shame on you Daily Guide and to all those sharing the photo on social media. You are a disgrace to your families.
