Get out of here. Why? I asked. Because youre a girl. I went running home to my mom and yelled out, Whats wrong with being a girl? Why cant girls play basketball? (Star b-ball player Rebecca Ryan, you changed my game mindset. Christine Holton Cashen, your Camille is one of my hopes for the future.) My mom hugged me and said, There are other things you can do. Yes, and, fast forward five decades and thanks to girl power leaders like Leanne Tibiatowski, Stephanie J.
