Why depression arise and how to recover In teaching if Buddha, depression is involved under the wholesome mental factors. hatred in which sorrow, grief, depression, anger and grudge include. It is not only violet but also soils the mind. Depression mostly soils the mind. Why we got depression The following are the most resonance facts why one get depression 1. Lack of wealth, requisites, etc., 2. Not having followers 3. Being blamed 4. Suffering They are the downs of life, said by Buddha. Lack of wealth We, all human beings want a life full of requisites and many want full of luxury. When one see other people getting it and living with it, one feel envy instead of giving appraised to them. Then one blamed and feel unsatisfied oneself, finally it tend from anger to depress. Not having followers People want a life which is full of followers also. When having followers, they would protect and serve around one. Some people, those who already have followed know how good to live with that quality. Some people want it and when lack of it, one feel anger nag tend to depress. Some who lost followers in the past suffer more for it. Being blame Being blamed is the fact why most people get depression. Students get depression when failed in exams. They get depression when thy get afraid for coming exam because they didnt prepare for it. People in business get depression when he fail. As competitors and partner is going to blame on him, he get depression for it. Workers get depressed when they dont finished the task assigned by managers. This is actually worry. Their worries make them feel depressed. Most young people get depression from this fact. Suffering Suffering is called Dukkha in Pali term. People suffer when unhealthy, lost loved, family and relatives, and when living in poor life with lack of human basic needs. People living on poor country suffer most and get depression mental fact by it the most. You may not know how bad to live without eating for days occurring in some regions of Myanmar. How to recover from depression Firstly, you need to try to feel sympathetic joy at the success, prosperity and achievements of others. It is the sincere wish to let others continue enjoying their wealth, position, progress, happiness, fame and so on. It is called mudita in Pali, teaching of Buddha. When you can feel it, you will not feel envy and jealous so that you dont get depression. Secondly, you need to enjoy for your accomplishments in the past and present. At least once in life, you may done something with your best effort. You might got success. When you stuck in somewhere in life and feeling of failing, try to enjoy for your past achievements and motivate yourself to better in the future. Up and down of life is its nature. To accept and face it is your responsibility. Instead of crying on the sinking ship, swimming in the sea is the best way. If now you stuck in somewhere, try to escape from it with your best. Try the best. Thirdly, you need to drop your worries. Worry doesnt help you anything in your problem. It even brings all of your happiness away. As you are worry, you got depress. If you drop your worries out of your mind and try the best for it, you never suffer it. Finally, have a positive attitude so that you never feel bad. As you are seeing and thinking for everything in positive way, no kind bad mental factors influence you. Then your life is beautiful with no meaning of depression and angers.
