Why did Arvind Kejriwal ask supporters to take leave for his nomination filing while his wife went for her duties? Government Officials cannot participate in Political activities. This rule have been made by corrupt politicians with the intention that, those who have some sort of know-how should not come to politics only good-for-nothing people should come to politics so that corruption, looting and extortion can go on for ever. In public, the parties say that if Govt officials have political inclination, then they shall not treat all parties alike, when parties try to give justice to common man. Ironically there is no evidence of parties giving justice to common man. However, employees union can have political inclination. This provision is kept to hijack vote bank. In India noting comes from the heart from these dishonest corrupt politicians. Therefore law enforcements are always misused to target political opponents. If AKs wife was present for the Nomination, then quoting that, these BJP/Congress morons shall sack her. This shall economically destabilize AKs family and AK will be forced to earn his living and leave politics. On the other hand if lakhs of supporters are taking leaves, then Govt cannot take revenge on so many - as there shall be a drastic volume of oppose in the Court of Law - which may be difficult for Govt to handle - especially in election time.
