Why did God save you? John 3:16, 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. The obvious reason that God saved you is because he loves you. And because he loves you he does not want you to perish. God saved you to give you eternal life! God included you in his great plan of salvation to have continual fellowship with you which was lost in Adam because of the original sin! Are we taking full advantage of our privilege of being able to fellowship with the creator of the heavens and the earth or are we treating God has a convenience God. What do I mean by convenience God? I mean are we sharing everything with God? Do we put God first in our life. Do we pray to God to seek his counsel about his will before we do things? Or do we treat God like a vending machine, choosing him when we get in trouble, and then when he has solved our problem, we put him on the back burner of the stove to be used at a later time? to be a friend of Jesus Christ? God saved you to bring you into the family of God. We are now children of the most High God! Romans 8:16The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. God saves man to bestow all his promises onto his beloved children. Revelation 21:6Then He said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. 7He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. God saved you because it was his will to do so.Ephesians 1:11 says, In [Christ] we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will God saved you because it brought glory to him for him to save you! Revelation 4:11Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created. God saved you to give you his grace? Gods greatest act of grace is the gift of salvation that is available for all people through faith (Eph 2:8-9). 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Jesus was given to you who is full of grace and truth.) John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, (full of grace and truth.) Now that God has saved you he desires you to fulfill his perfect will. He has a perfect will for your life and he has specific ways to use you down here on earth.Ephesians 2:10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. And God saved you beloved of God for this reason:Philippians 2:13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. It is God good pleasure to make you a vessel for his honor. It is Gods good pleasure to give you his Mercy. Mercy means you do not get a punishment that you deserve; compassion, forbearance. Romans 11:32For God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all. Beloved of God, seek your God with all your heart to find out what Gods perfect will for your life. He has a perfect plan for you down here to fulfill every work that God intends to do through you. Trust him for it and walk in his Grace and Mercy as you carry out every good work while you are in the body.
