Why did the otter cross the road? I dont know, but I saw one doing it this evening as I drove down the main drag. He was coming from the corner where the bead store is. I saw him sloping across the street and I thought, Not a cat or dog, not furry enough for a coon, I bet its an otter! I stopped and saw him emerge into the parking lot on the sea side of the street and yep, it was an otter. I couldnt see if he was carrying a sack of beads or not but probably.
